Texas Tech football QB Tyler Shough: When will he play next?
Texas Tech coach Joey McGuire said earlier in the week that Behren Morton and Donovan Smith will play against West Virginia — while Tyler Shough will not play against the Mountaineers, per a report from the local radio broadcast.
On Saturday afternoon, it was Morton — the 6-foot-2, 220-pound redshirt freshman — who was working with first-team center Dennis Wilburn. Smith was with second-stringer Cade Briggs.

Two weeks prior, the Eastland native earned his first start on the road, throwing for 379 yards, two touchdowns and one interception while running for another score in a 41-31 loss in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Morton has seen action in four games this season, completing 11 of his 17 passing attempts for 182 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions.
Along with that, Shough — who suffered a clavicle injury in the season opener — suited up for the first time since he was knocked out of the Murray State contest.

When will Texas Tech quarterback Tyler Shough be available to play again?
According to reports, Shough will be available to play vs. Baylor Saturday, Oct. 29.
Joey McGuire said on pre-game radio Behren Morton and Donovan Smith will play today and Tyler Shough will be ready to go against Baylor.

Shough was hurt in the team's first game of the 2022 NCAA season, a 63-10 win against FCS foe Murray State.
