The Double T Varsity Club will induct six former Red Raiders athletes into the Texas Tech Hall of Fame on Friday night at the Overton Hotel & Conference Center.

Set to be honored are track and field thrower D'Andra Carter (2006-09), golfer Brooke Lowrance (1995-99), basketball guard Ronald Ross (2002-05) and baseball middle infielder Jason Totman (1994-95), all of whom will be present.

Former Tech football players Graham Harrell (2005-08) and Michael Crabtree (2007-08) also will be enshrined. Harrell, now offensive coordinator at Southern California, will be represented by family members, and his and Crabtree's place in the program will include an appearance via a prerecorded Zoom video interview.

Another athlete voted into the class, volleyball player Chris Martin (1988-91), can not attend because of a family matter and will be inducted in person in a later year, said Rodney Allison, the Double T Varsity Club executive director.

The inductees were selected last year for induction in 2020, but that event did not come about because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Nearly all tickets for the induction banquet are sold, Allison said. The meal will be served at 5:45 p.m. with the program scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m.
