Thanksgiving is meant to be spent surrounded by good food — no one said it had to be your home cooking.
Here's a list of Knoxville-area restaurants open for dine in on Nov. 25 or offering pre-order Thanksgiving meals.

Applewood Farmhouse Restaurant and Grill
The original Applewood Farmhouse Restaurant and the Applewood Farmhouse Grill in Sevierville are open from 10:30 a.m. - 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving.
The Thanksgiving Feast is $29.99 a person and includes Applewood's famous apple fritters, vegetable soup, roast prime rib, roast turkey with gravy, sides and your choice of dessert.
You can also preorder a meal that includes turkey and all the trimmings. Availability is limited so call 865-429-5700 ext. 1113 to reserve.

Brown Bag
Brown Bag is offering a Thanksgiving catering menu with a holiday classic package for $16 a person that includes turkey, salad, mashed potatoes, green beans, gravy, cranberry sauce and more. That package has a 15-person minimum.
Many dishes, including oven roasted turkey, honey ham and sweet potato casserole, are available for individual order.

Chesapeake's
Chesapeake's downtown, located at 600 Union Ave., is open from 11 a.m. - 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving. Make reservations at chesapeakes.com.
Chesapeake's West Knoxville, located at 9630 Parkside Drive, is open from 10:30 a.m. - 7 p.m. for buffet only.
The Gatlinburg location is open from noon - 9 p.m. on Thanksgiving.
Copper Cellar West
Located at 7316 Kingston Pike, Copper Cellar West is open for buffet only from 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. Call 865-673-3422 for reservations.
The Cumberland Avenue location is closed on Thanksgiving.
Dancing Bear Appalachian Bistro
Dancing Bear, located in Townsend at 7140 E. Lamar Alexander Parkway, is open from noon - 5 p.m. on Thanksgiving. The Thanksgiving "bear-fay" is $75 a person and includes an appetizer, salad and desserts.
The buffet includes herb-brined, free range turkey, sorghum-glazed Virginia ham, beef tenderloin, smoked oysters and more.
Fleming's Steakhouse
Fleming's Steakhouse is offering a three-course menu featuring herb-roasted turkey, filet mignon or bone-in ribeye. The meal includes a starter, all the fixings and dessert.
The restaurant, located at 11287 Parkside Drive, opens at 11 a.m. on Thanksgiving. Full dinner menu is also available all day. Make a reservation here by calling 865-675-9463 or visiting flemingssteakhouse.com/reservations.
The three-course meal is also available for curbside pickup or delivery.

Holly's Gourmets Market & Cafe
Holly's HollyDay menu is available for pre-order and requires 48-hour notice for pickup.
The menu features a package deal that feeds six people and comes with two appetizers, one salad, one main, two sides and dessert for $42.
Mains include a roasted whole chicken with fennel, roasted salmon with citrus salsa verde, and many more. Dessert options include a whole sweet potato pie, flourless dark chocolate torte, pistachio crumble and more.

The Lunchbox Knoxville
The Lunchbox has a list of sides and desserts available for Thanksgiving, including cakes like Italian crème, sides like pineapple casserole and pies like chocolate peanut butter. All orders must be submitted by noon on Nov. 23 for Thanksgiving pickup.

Oliver Royale
The 5 Market Square restaurant is open from 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. for a $69 three-course menu created by executive chef Darin Hoagland.

Ruth's Chris Steak House
Ruth's Chris Steak House is open from 11 a.m. - 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving. Its traditional meal starts at $42.95 and includes turkey breast, sausage and herb stuffing, one starter, one side, a pre-selected dessert and leftovers to take home.

A $175 to-go Thanksgiving meal is also available for pickup on Nov. 24.
