Thanksgiving 2022 grocery store hours: What stores are open in Rhode Island?
It happens. You are in the middle of Thanksgiving food prep and you realize that you needed half a cup more of milk than is left in the refrigerator. You'll have to go to the grocery store.
But what stores are open on Thanksgiving Day in Rhode Island? Not many. The majority of stores close for the national holiday; however, there are a few stores that stay open for those that find themselves in a pinch - mostly convenience stores, gas stations and the chain coffee shops.

Are liquor stores open on Thanksgiving Day in Rhode Island?
No. State law mandates liquor stores close on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. A 2021 law made it possible for liquor stores to be on New Year's Day.
