Thanksgiving dinner: These Bucks County restaurants will be open for the holiday

These Bucks County restaurants will host Thanksgiving dinner for you and your family this year. But, don't wait, as reservations are going quickly.

Here are a few places that will take care of the cooking:

River House at Odette's, New Hope

River House will be hosting a Thanksgiving dinner on Nov. 25 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. consisting of a traditional Thanksgiving buffet of holiday fixings and some non-traditional offerings, including whole king salmon and quinoa salad, and desserts including apple pie and pumpkin pie.

King George II Inn, Bristol

The King George II Inn is accepting reservations now for Thanksgiving and serving up all the traditional fare, plus some special things like lobster bisque, crab stuffed bacon wrapped shrimp, pan seared dijonnaise Atlantic salmon and the King's pork chop. A traditional turkey dinner is $32.

Georgines, Bristol

Georgines offers a pre-fixed menu for the holiday complete with soup, salad and dessert. There's turkey, of course, but also surf and turf, steak, and chicken dishes to choose from. Entrees range from $19.99 to $55.99.

The Thanksgiving menu is also available for takeout, but no online ordering is available. Call to place order.

Tradition continues along the Delaware River, with Black Bass Hotel offering its four-course menu, including butternut soup, horseradish stuffed shrimp, warm stilton blue cheese tart, Charleston Meeting Street crab, and a wide assortment of desserts.

Cock 'n Bull, Lahaska

This Peddler's Village mainstay is offering its Thanksgiving Harvest Buffet from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. for $46.95 adults and $19.95 children (6-9; 5 & under are free).

There will be carving stations with turkey, ham and roast beef and a potato bar also with lots of side accompaniments. Entrees also include baked ziti, salmon and vegetarian lasagna. Desserts include pies, cheesecake, cookies, pastries and streusel and cakes.

Online reservations are strongly encouraged by calling 215-794-4010 or reserving online. Groups of seven or more will likely be seated upstairs in the banquet rooms.

Nikos, Lower Makefield

Want to try something new? Nikos, Lower Makefield's newest eatery, said it would offer Thanksgiving dinner at the recently opened New American-Mediterranean restaurant from 1 to 7 p.m. The holiday menu should be out soon.

Washington Crossing Inn, Upper Makefield

Step back into history for Thanksgiving dinner with the inn's menu that includes deep-fried turkey, baked stuffing, almond butter beans, maple-glazed sweet potatoes and penne in prosciutto vodka sauce and more. The dessert table will be filled too with cakes and pies. There will also be a carving station with prime rib.

Dinner will be served from 12:30 to 6:30 p.m. Reservations now being taken.
