Victorville First Assembly of God is preparing for its annual Thanksgiving Outreach to the Victor Valley.

Beginning Sunday, the church will receive donations of winter clothing and accessories like shoes, jeans, blankets, gloves, beanies, and towels.

Church congregants will then take a few days to organize the clothing closet inside the Victor Valley Christian School gym.

Advertisement teams will also head into the city to share the news about the Thanksgiving Outreach scheduled from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday at the church.

During the outreach, church volunteers will serve a full Thanksgiving meal with all the trimmings and provide sleeping bags, clothes, hygiene supplies, haircuts, showers, and other necessities.

Victorville First Assembly of God is located at 15260 Nisqualli Road in Victorville. For more information, visit facebook.com/vfassembly.
