'That's the Nate we know and love': The Rock deflects Nate Diaz's criticism from UFC 244
A week after Nate Diaz directed some strange criticism his way following UFC 244, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson seemed entirely unfazed.
After Diaz’s loss last week (which was cut short by the fight doctor), Johnson entered the ring to present Jorge Masvidal with the BMF belt. Diaz was apparently annoyed by Johnson’s actions and accused him of being biased toward Masvidal because the two are friends.
In a profanity-laden press conference, Diaz — at least half-jokingly — went off on the WWE star-turned-big-screen mainstay.
“F--- The Rock too man, that motherf----- over here playing me,” Diaz said. “See him over there smiling with Masvidal. Should have had Mike Tyson handing out a belt if anybody.”

Johnson, making an appearance on “Ariel Helwani’s MMA Show,” said he didn’t take the jab personally.
“That’s the Nate we all know and love,” The Rock said.

Props to Johnson for being a good sport. Reportedly worth more than $300 million, he likely has other things on his mind, anyway.
