The Body Shop parodies the Queen for Mother’s Day

ICYMI, Mother’s Day is next Sunday, which means it’s time to celebrate the lady who brought you into this world.

While we’re still trying to figure out what to do for our own moms this year, The Body Shop offered a sneak peek at what the royal family will be up to.

In the video, we see Kate with her stroller playing with one of the Queen’s many corgis while HRH Elizabeth II lounges on a chair sipping juice. Across the garden, Prince Charles prunes his beloved English rose garden much to Camilla’s frustration.

It’s Mother’s Day and everyone is here to celebrate.

As the family prepares to gather with the Queen, Charles discovers that her beloved corgis have completely trampled his garden, destroying nearly all of the flowers. Heading to the greenhouse – as Harry ducks past the camera in a pair of Union Jack boxers – they’re able to salvage a few flowers, which hang limply in a glass vase, and present the Queen with her gift: the new British Rose collection from The Body Shop.

And if you haven’t already guessed, that’s not the actual royal family but rather some pretty impressive royal dopplegangers.

Sure, it’s marketing but it’s still pretty amusing.
