3 QUESTIONS
...about Jon Stewart's Daily Show return
Starting tonight, Jon Stewart will host The Daily Show every Monday through the 2024 election. My Yahoo News colleague Dylan Stableford has details on his return.
Lily: When did Jon Stewart last host The Daily Show?
Dylan: His last show aired Aug. 6, 2015. He missed the Trump-Clinton election, Trump’s presidency, the Biden-Trump election and everything that’s happened since.
Lily: What can we expect him to bring to the show now?
Dylan: It’s clear that he wanted a platform to weigh in on this presidential race and the creative freedom to do it his way after splitting with Apple.
Lily: Will it be worth tuning in?
Dylan: I think it will! As his former correspondent John Oliver put it, it’s like Michael Jordan returning to the NBA.
