Isn’t this the dreamiest wedding dress you have ever seen!? We would go as far as to say it is the wedding dress to end all other wedding dresses. And it better be, considering how much it cost. We’re talking more than a year’s rent in London. Yes, really.
This glitzy, full-skirted bridal gown cost an eye-watering £18,000, making it the most expensive wedding dress in the world.
And, brace yourself, it was worn by a student. But not any student, obviously. This student, 20-year-old Khadija Uzhakhova, wore it when wedding Said Gutseriev, son of Russian oligarch Mikhail Gutseriev on Saturday, in Moscow.
And the dress was just one of the incredible outcomes of a wedding where money is no object.

So what designer does one wear when you have an infinite budget to spend on your wedding dress? Elie Saab of course.
The couture dress was imported from France specially for the occasion. It probably needed its own aisle on the plane to fit in the metres of highly embellished material. Along with an epic train that could rival Duchess Kate’s.
It wasn’t only the price tag that was pretty heavy, it also reportedly weighed 25lbs. Talk about heavy baggage.

The dress was accessorised with a tiara for a perfect fairytale ending. And is that a matching handbag we see? That baby is going straight in our wedding dress inspiration scrapbook.
In fact along with the nine-tiered cake, walls of fresh flowers and performances by J-LO and Sting, this dress was just a little dent in the reported $1 billion budget.
