3 QUESTIONS
Tech Editor Dan Howley recently reported on the trends to watch this year: AI on smartphones, mixed reality and self-driving cars.
Lily: How will AI show up on smartphones?
Dan: Google and Apple already use AI, and Samsung plans to. That will translate into improved photo editing, AI-made wallpapers and real-time translation during calls.
Lily: When you tried the Apple Vision Pro, what did you think?
Dan: I was blown away by its visual fidelity and ease of use, but it will need a library of compelling apps to get people to drop that kind of cash.
Lily: Will self-driving cars finally hit the road in 2024?
Dan: Most likely, no. But more automakers will commit to advanced driver assistance technologies hoping they lead to real self-driving vehicles.
