Vet Fest 2022 will be held this weekend with its new Leesburg location. Plus, there are many Halloween events that are coming to an end, with spooky adventures for the whole family.

Vet Fest Lake County

The Vet Fest gala will take place Friday evening with guest speaker Boone Cutler.

On Saturday, join veterans on an 8:30 a.m. escorted ride to pay homage to all those who served the nation. Start location is the AMVETS Post 1992, 32201 AMVETS Way in Mount Dora.

Kickstands up at 10:30 a.m. Escorted rides will be provided by the Lake County Sheriff’s Office to the Memorial Wall location at Gator Harley Davidson, with live music and vendors.

Boo Fest

The seventh annual BOO! Festival in Wooton Park and Downtown Tavares will be Friday from 6 to 9 p.m.

Enjoy Trunk-or-Treat, games, music, performers, food vendors and more.

Boo Bash

Leesburg Partnership's Boo Bash will feature local businesses, civic groups and city departments set up in Downtown Leesburg's Towne Square from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday.

They will pass out candy and have fun activities for kids to do, plus a costume parade around Towne Square and end at the steps of Town Hall for the costume contest.

Annual Downtown Clermont Harvest Festival

Celebrate fall at the annual Downtown Clermont Harvest Festival presented by Clermont Main Street on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Fun is planned for the whole family. There will be 150 vendors on site.

Nightmare on the Clermont Trails 5K

A spooktacular nighttime 5K run/walk featuring several interactive spook zones along the course on Saturday starting at 6:30 p.m. at Victory Pointe in Clermont.

Costumes are encouraged with cash and merchandise prizes being awarded to the best several categories.

Not-So-Scary-Halloween Weekend at Amber Brooke Farms

Enjoy fall fun at Amber Brooke Farms, 36111 N CR 44A in Eustis, on Saturday and Sunday starting at 10 a.m.

Event includes 1-acre maze, pumpkin painting, playgrounds, pumpkin patch, live music and petting zoo.

Tent or Treat on the Farm

Join organizers on the farm for some family fun and candy at Sunsational Farms in Umatilla on Saturday from 3 to 6 p.m.

The fourth annual “tent or treat” will feature individuals and businesses set up, handing out candy. It’s our farm version of a trunk or treat.

The event is free. Come dressed in your costume and take your picture in front of our iconic Big Orange that is currently transformed into Big Jack.

Scream Scenes at the Square

Scream Scenes at the Square is a thrilling new haunted house experience within the Lake Square Mall for the 2022 Halloween season, happening each Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. through Oct. 31.

Located in the center of the mall, next to Bath and Body Works, this is a scare maze that will test the hearts of even the bravest of Halloween fans out there. Visit graveyard scenes, an abandoned manor, and even a haunted arcade room plus so much more.

Tickets are $10 per person and $5 for ages 12 and under.

Fall Festival and Corn Maze

Scott’s Maze Adventure is back for its 19th annual corn maze, fall festival and pumpkin patch on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

This year’s theme is pirates. Get lost in the 6.5-acre corn maze, jump on the jumping pillow, slide down the 60-foot slide or play on the giant castle playground.

It’s the last weekend for the Manor of Madness at the Melon Patch Theatre in Leesburg from 7 to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Take an immersive trip into madness as the stage is turned into a haunted house.

Living Drama Theatre

The Living Drama Theatre in Eustis hosts three shows this weekend including a symphony, Elton John tribute and rock and roll oldies.

The Florida Lakes Symphony Orchestra brings The Magic of Mendelssohn to the stage 7:30 p.m. Oct. 27 with guest conductor of the Cleveland Pops, Carl Topilow.

An Elton John tribute by Dwight Icenhower covers the musicians popular songs at 7 p.m. Friday.

Solid Gold Hits, a musical trip through the years with Stevie G and Rich Wilson finds the beat with songs of the 1950s to 70s. It is onstage at 7 p.m. Oct. 29.
