'The Sound of Music'

Set in Austria on the eve of the Anschluss in 1938, the musical tells the story of Maria, who takes a job as governess while she decides whether to become a nun. She falls in love with the children, and eventually their widowed father, Captain Von Trapp. He is ordered to accept a commission in the German navy, but he opposes the Nazis.

'A Christmas Carol'

Ebenezer Scrooge is a prosperous curmudgeon who believes that personal wealth is far more valuable than the happiness and comfort of others. With an infuriated "Bah! Humbug!" Scrooge summates his feelings of Christmas tidings and charitable giving, but he's forced to face his selfish ways when three ghosts on Christmas Eve lead him through his Past, Present and Future. Thanks to their guidance, Scrooge recognizes his faults and greets Christmas morning with a cheerful "Happy Christmas" before spending the day reconnecting and sharing love with those that mean the most to him. The longest-running play in Palm Springs is back. The original hit comedy-drama "Electricity" by Terry Ray follows the lives of Brad & Gary who have shared a hotel every 10 years after each high school reunion for four decades. Their funny, sexy and surprisingly powerful journey from the closet to equality is one that nearly everyone in the LGBTQ+ community has taken, and their love story is universal.
