New in theaters: 'Maleficent 2,' 'Zombieland 2,' 'Jojo Rabbit,' 'The Lighthouse'

The evil fairy godmother becomes protector of the realm in this week's "Maleficent" sequel, joined by a shotgun-toting "Zombieland: Double Tap," irreverent comedy "Jojo Rabbit" and intense, dramatic "The Lighthouse."

Maleficent: Mistress of Evil (PG)

Princess Aurora has accepted Prince Phillip's marriage proposal, but Phillip's mother, Queen Ingrith, is seizing her chance to start a war between fairies and humans. Only Aurora's fairy godmother Maleficent, villain of the 2014 film, seems to understand what is happening and how to stop it.
