Le Parc, located at 4951 Gulf Shore Blvd North, is a magnificent beachfront high-rise found at the northernmost point of Park Shore in Naples, Florida. It was completed in 1990. Through its floor-to-ceiling windows this well-known high-rise condominium offers unmatched views of the Gulf of Mexico, its pristine white sandy beaches and exclusive Venetian Bay.

The sellers of Le Parc’s prestigious penthouse hired leading interior design firm Theory Design to reimagine the 6500 sq. ft. space that includes five bedrooms, five baths plus a powder room, a large open concept kitchen, a lounge and dining and great room areas, as well as four balconies. Led by creative visionary Ruta Menaghlazi, Vice President of Design, the Fort Myers based firm were tasked to realize the true potential of the dated interior spaces and the awkward original layout. They were also engaged to maximize the experience of the Gulf waterfront views, some obstructed by the original space planning, especially showcasing the stunning sunsets.

The Theory Design team has now transformed the space that is both visually stunning and ergonomically efficient. The layout and architectural details lend the space a modern edge while the wooden elements and finishes provide a warm, inviting, and livable feel. Elegance, comfort, and flexibility are considered in the furniture selections that feature a soothing, yet timeless, muted neutral color palette. The entire space is grounded with rich, dark wood grains that are found in the cabinetry, built-ins and panels constructed with exotic fumed eucalyptus wood.

Wide-plank natural waxed walnut floors are featured in the main areas. They provide a look of continuity throughout while the walnut grounds the spaces with warmth. While strategic art and design elements quietly celebrate the coastal location.

The floor-to-ceiling windows are deliberately left unobstructed by drapery to allow the experience of the dramatic views. Now, programmable motorized solar and blackout shades provide light and privacy control. The walnut-accented ceiling details, rarely seen in condo environments, not only lend visual interest, but provide stunning cove lighting and definition to the open spaces.

The foyer is now transformed to a grand entrance that introduces guests to the great room and the views beyond. The exquisite fumed-eucalyptus architectural wall panels and pilasters along with the walnut herringbone floor sets the tone for the rest of the home. Just beyond the foyer is the great room. It can read as a formal space that is perfect for entertaining yet is a comfortable place to enjoy the sunset or watch a favorite movie. The large fumed-eucalyptus entertainment wall features sliding full-height panels to either display or hide a big-screen smart TV.

The open dining room can comfortably entertain ten guests and shares the beautiful views with everyone. It also provides convenient access to the wine bar and kitchen. The extensive bar area features a full-size wine cooler, wine display and under-counter refrigerator as well as roomy cabinetry and storage space.

The gourmet kitchen was designed with custom artisan cabinetry and has high-end SubZero and Miele appliances. Cooking elements include an induction cook top, custom hood, built-in wall ovens and an under-counter microwave. The SubZero refrigerator and freezer are paneled to disappear within the cabinetry. There is also abundant cabinet storage as well as a convenient coffee center cabinet with pocketing doors. There are two 10-foot oversized islands with natural quartzite countertops. The prep island has a 42-inch galley prep sink complete with a dishwasher. The gathering island seats six guests and is adjacent to the lounge area. Finally, there is a large storage pantry off the foyer.

The impeccable lounge area includes a contemporary fireplace that utilizes an eco-friendly ultra-fine cold-water vapor that is “ignited” with rotating multi-colored LED lights. The fireplace feature wall is clad with floor-to-ceiling stone slabs and holds a big-screen smart TV with a fully immersive sound system designed for the entire home.

While owner’s suite is outstanding, especially with its spectacular floor-to-ceiling views, it’s the breathtaking sunsets that steal the show. Upon entering the bedroom, you are welcomed by an upholstered king bed, dressed in custom-made natural silk layered bed linens. Two swivel chairs are added to the space for comfortable conversation and taking in the view. The master bath features a porcelain tub that sits atop an underlit wooden platform with a recessed niche wall behind the tub that glows with LED lights. A custom-made wooden tray sits on top of the tub for added elegance. The beautifully designed over-sized walk-in closet provides expansive storage and features custom soft-close drawers.

The study boasts a built-in media feature wall crafted from exotic fumed eucalyptus wood that holds a big-screen smart TV. An LED lit wet bar with sink is included for refreshments. A hidden built-in pocket door can be closed for privacy or can remain open to access the main living space.

All the guest bedrooms are generous and comfortable and will easily sleep eight guests. Each guest room offers stunning Gulf and city views. Plus, each guest room provides an ensuite spa-quality marble bathroom with generous custom closets.
