There's A Bar Opening On Top Of A Glacier In Iceland For 5 Days Only And You Can Win A Trip There
And you thought meeting your friend at a bar on the other side of town was a trek! One vodka company is taking the journey to the bar one step further by offering the chance to go drinking somewhere so remote it's literally set up on top of a glacier.
Reyka Vodka is selecting a few lucky people to experience a limited-time-only bar located on top of the Langjökull Glacier in Iceland, which is the source for Reyka Vodka. If that doesn't sound wild enough, they're making the place even more exclusive because it will only be open for five days in October—between the 16th and 20th.
If you're one of the lucky ones chosen, you'll be transported to the glacier where you'll sit by the fire, sip on the brand's signature Puffin Collins drink, and experience the beauty of, I dunno, being on top of a frickin' glacier!
To be selected for the adventure, you'll have to enter your information using the form on Reyka's site. Then, Fabiano Latham, Reyka Vodka's brand ambassador will interview some finalists and select who will actually be going to the bar. Though it will probably be pretty tough to win unless you're really really lucky (and good at interviews!) there is another way you can get there: doing it yourself.
The coordinates for the bar are already live on Reyka's site. If you choose to, you can also try and get there yourself though, I can't promise that will be any easier than winning a contest. Good luck either way and say hi to the puffins for me!
