There's a house stuck on an Ohio highway. Officials hope they can remove it today.
CANTON, Ohio – Interstate 77 has a new resident – kind of.
A 72-year-old man moving a small house drove through a construction zone on an Ohio highway and became stuck Tuesday afternoon, said Ray Marsch, spokesman for the Ohio Department of Transportation.
The driver then left the house there – in the zone.
The mobile home remained between the southbound and northbound lanes on Wednesday morning, but Marsch said it is scheduled to be removed later in the day.
Canton police said the driver was cited for violating his permit and for being over the legal width.
Police were called to the scene on Tuesday at 2:09 p.m. local time.
