Employees returning to work from the Christmas holiday found the Salvation Army Service Center in Woodland had been broken into and two days’ worth of red kettle donations were stolen. “It’s heartbreaking,” said Stephanie Lopez-Vassa, with the Salvation Army. “All they had to do was walk through our doors during normal business hours and asked for assistance and we could’ve provided it for them." The two days’ worth of donations totaling $2,413 were stolen sometime between 9:30 p.m. Christmas Eve and 12:30 p.m. Dec. 26. Get the full story in the video above.
