Here's where to get a Friday the 13th tattoo deal in El Paso

Have you noticed it's almost Friday the 13th?

Whether you think it's good or bad, the number is apparently considered a symbol of good luck in the tattoo world.

And it's when some tattoo shops around the country host a marathon of limited $13 tattoos, although the price can be higher.

According to thrillist.com, the lines can get pretty long as people wait to pick from a pre-set list of possible small designs such as a rose, a heart or lighting rods. No time for fire-breathing dragons here.

In El Paso, here's where to go to get a deal:

House of Pain Tattoo, 11335 Montwood Drive and 1550 Hawkins Blvd., will have Friday the 13th specials, from noon to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday. $40 black ink, 2-inch tattoos. No limits. Walk-ins are accepted. Cash only. Information: Montwood, 915-855-8282, and Hawkins, 915-590-8282

Sun City Tattoo, at 11310 Montana Ave. and 6930 Gateway East, will have Friday the 13th Tattoo specials, starting at noon. Tattoos will be offered for $31 plus a $9 tip. First come, first served. Information: 915-626-5014.
