Boo at the Zoo at Akron Zoo

Last weekend of event. 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Akron Zoo, 505 Euclid Ave., Akron. Boo at the Zoo is a non-scary event. Guests are encouraged to dress in Halloween costumes as they trick-or-treat at the 12 themed stations throughout the zoo. The Akron Zoo is participating in the Teal Pumpkin Project, which provides non-food options for any guest with food allergies. Guests can request a Teal Pumpkin treat at each station. Tickets purchased online are available at a discounted rate. Treaters are $13, non-member observers are $10 and parking/shuttle fee is $3. Summit Metro Parks Truck-or-Treat

The Masque at the Akron Civic Theatre

Halloween “Pipe Screams”: 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at First Congregational Church, 47 Aurora St., Hudson. Collect treats in the church’s decorated, dimly-lit historic sanctuary while enjoying live Halloween-themed organ music. This is the seventh year the church has offered this free event. Attendees are welcome to stay for a few minutes while they pick up treats or take a seat in the pews to enjoy the entire casual concert.
