Veterans Day at Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens

MAPS 11th Annual Veterans Day Event

4:30-10:30 p.m. Saturday at MAPS Air Museum, 2260 International Parkway, North Canton. $25 includes dinner, beer and wine, program and access to the museum. Ticket sales end Nov. 5. mapsairmuseum.org.

Akron Children's Hospital Tree Festival

Saturday through Nov. 19 at John S. Knight Center, 77 E. Mill St. Free event. Festival hours are 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday-Friday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. A public ribbon-cutting ceremony will kick off the holiday fun at 10 a.m. Saturday.
