Ongoing: CIAA Fan Fest

Check out this free two-day fan festival at the Baltimore Convention Center celebrating the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association men’s and women’s basketball tournaments. Events include a battle of the bands, vendor village and CIAA Greek and High School Step Shows in the evening. Doors open for step shows at 6 p.m. and tickets are required. Tickets prices are $37.50 for the college step shows on Friday and $17.50 for high school shows on Saturday.

Friday: Desi Banks

See the rise of a new talent and laugh out loud at Desi Banks “The Purple Chaser Tour” at The Lyric, 140 W. Saturday: ‘Legends of Hip Hop VI’

Don’t miss a night of music at “Legends of Hip Hop” at Rams Head Live!, 20 Market Place. Fatman Scoop, Keith Murray and Mr. Cheeks will perform. Saturday: ‘Games with Trains’

Release your inner gamer at “Games with Trains” at the B&O Railroad Museum, 901 W. Pratt St. The Museum and Games Club of Maryland worked together to offer 50 games to play like Ticket to Ride, 20th Century Limited, Orient Express and more. Saturday: Sounds of an Icon

See artwork by local talent and learn how to create in the digital age at “New Balance Presents: Sounds of an Icon” at 709 N. Howard St. The event combines a gallery exhibition with an image collaging workshop taught by artist Shan Wallace. The gallery and class are both open to the public.

Thursday: Marlon Wayans
