This weekend's roundup of events will include a special bridal show at The Factory, as well as a gun show, monster trucks and an opportunity to feast on some tasty Cajun cuisine.

1. Lace & Co. Bridal Show at The Factory

With wedding season just a few months away, now is the time for brides-to-be to prepare for their big day.

Lace & Company will present what's being billed as the "largest bridal show in Maury County," which will take place from 1-4 p.m. Sunday at The Factory at Columbia, 101 N. James M. Campbell Blvd.

The event will showcase the latest in bridal fashion, food, floral arrangements, as well as event venues, wedding photographers and planners.

The first 100 brides will also receive a complimentary gift bag from The Factory.

Admission is also free to attend.

2. Gun Show at National Guard Armory

Gun enthusiasts are invited to visit the National Guard Armory, 844 N. James M. Campbell Blvd., this weekend for a special gun show, which will take place over two days.

The event, which takes place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, will be an opportunity to buy, sell or trade an assortment of firearms with multiple dealers and local vendors.

3. Do South Tours Monster Truck Jam

How can a weekend not be fun when there are high-flying monster trucks involved?

Do South Tours invites guests to step aboard its party bus Saturday, which will take riders to Nashville for the Monster Jam show.

Tickets are available at www.MuletownDST.com, which includes admission to the event.

Witness these 12,000-pound monster trucks as they compete for a place in the prestigious Monster Jam World Finals, including the legendary Grave Digger, Max-D! and the Megalodon trucks.

4. Gumbo Sunday at Amber Falls

Round out the weekend with a nice plate of authentic Cajun gumbo and a bottle of wine at Amber Falls Winery & Cellars.

Amber Falls, 794 Ridgetop Road, will host Gumbo Sunday starting at 12:30 p.m., which will include live music from Kenny Durham from 1-4 p.m.

Be sure to try some of Amber Falls' award-winning wines, including their President James K. Polk series, or its popular Cajunfest wine, among many others available to visitors.

Admission is free, but outside beverages will not be allowed.

5. Live entertainment

Damien Boggs will perform at Bad Idea Brewery, 307 W. 11th St. in the Columbia Arts Building, starting at 7 p.m. Friday.

The Escape Band will perform at Fozzy's Bar & Grill, 150 Stephen P. Yokich Parkway in Spring Hill, starting at 8 p.m. Friday.

The Boondox, 3543 Highway 431, will host an Elvis Tribute Show featuring "The King's" music from the 1970s starting at 9 p.m. Friday.

Phil Vassar will perform at The Mulehouse, 812 S. High St., as part of Blair Garner's "Tales from the Velvet Couch" series starting at 7 p.m. Saturday. Visit www.TheMulehouse.com for tickets.

Jeff Carson will perform at Rory Feek's Hardison Mill Homestead Hall, 4544 Highway 431, starting at 7 p.m. Saturday. Visit www.RoryFeek.com for tickets.

Stranger Than Fiction will perform at Ember's Tavern & Grille, 2513 Hospitality Drive, starting at 8 p.m. Saturday.

Trey Binkley will perform at Bad Idea Brewery starting at 7 p.m. Saturday.

Sons of Whiskey Band will perform at The Boondox starting at 8 p.m. Saturday.
