Things to do in Bucks County this weekend: Warm up at Peddler's Village, prowl for owls in Solebury
Don't let the winter doldrums keep you indoors. There are plenty of events to enjoy this weekend in Bucks County, both indoors and outdoors.
Here are some of our top picks for winter fun.
Fire & Frost Fun at Peddler's Village
Enjoy fire pits, live fire artistry, an ice carving artist, family activities, outdoor food and drinks, and a display of ice sculptures at Peddler's Village's Fire & Frost event this weekend.
Fire & Frost is free to attend and open 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and noon to 8 p.m. Saturday. Don't forget to Find Jack Frost in a village-wide scavenger hunt with prizes for children. The scavenger hunt will take place between 5 and 8 p.m. both days.
This is also the last weekend to enjoy the village's holiday lights and gingerbread house display. Both end Saturday.

Final weekend for Festival of Trees
The Christmas magic lasts just one more weekend at the Pearl S. Buck House in Hilltown, which will close its annual Festival of Trees on Sunday.
Each year, the rooms of Pearl S. Buck’s iconic Bucks County stone farmhouse come alive with the glow of holiday decorations. The event showcases beautiful trees and vignettes designed and decorated by some of Bucks County’s best artists, decorators, and local community groups to convey the spirit of Pearl S. Buck’s legacy as an author, activist, and humanitarian.
The Festival of Trees can be enjoyed as part of the traditional Life & Legacy or Taking Action tours, or on their own. Tour times are 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. Saturday, and 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $16 for adults, $13 for seniors and $8 for students; the decor tour costs $7 for all admissions.

Rhonda Vincent and Adam Ezra Group at Sellersville Theater
Adam Ezra Group and Rhonda Vincent & the Rage will take the stage at the Sellersville Theater in separate concerts this weekend.
First up will be AEG, bringing their one-of-a-kind, community-driven experience on Friday. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. for an 8 p.m. show. Tickets are $19.50 to $29.50.
On Saturday, Grammy nominated and International Bluegrass Association award winner Rhonda Vincent will perform starting at 8 p.m. Tickets are $49.50.
Sellersville Theater is requiring proof of vaccine or proof of a negative PCR COVID test within 72 hours to attend. At-home COVID tests do not fulfill the requirement. Mask wearing is strongly recommended.

Elmo's Furry Fun Fest at Sesame Place
Sesame Place is filling the winter weekends with a host of birthday and holiday celebrations through its seasonal reopening this spring.
On Saturday and Sunday, celebrate Rubber Duckie's Birthday and visit the all-new Winter Family Zone featuring fire pits, s'mores and yard games. Elmo's Eatery and Count's Cool Creations will be open, as will gift shops and many rides.
Upcoming celebrations include Ernie's Birthday Bash on Jan. 15-17 and 22-23; Elmo's Rockin' Birthday Bash, Jan. 29-30 and Feb.5-6; and My Fuzzy Valentine's Celebration on Feb. 12-13.

Owl Prowl at Honey Hollow
Take a night hike in search of the owls that make Honey Hollow their home. Meet at the Bucks County Audubon Society Visitor Center at 7 p.m. Saturday.
Dress warmly, wear sturdy boots or shoes and bring a flashlight/headlamp.
The Bucks County Audubon Society is located at 2877 Creamery Road, New Hope. Cost is $5 for members, $10 nonmembers.
