2023 Windfest in Portland

Portland’s 48th annual Windfest is March 30-April 2, at Daniel P. Moore Community Complex, 1900 Billy G. Webb Drive, Portland. Hours are 5-10 p.m. Thursday (carnival and parade only), 3-11:30 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. Saturday, and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday. Big Bloom at South Texas Botanical Gardens

The South Texas Botanical Gardens & Nature Center’s Big Bloom Mega Plant Sale and Garden Festival is from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, April 1, at 8545 S. Staples St. This spring fundraiser, presented by Corpus Christi Medical Center, coincides with the $2 Community Day entrance fee. 2023 Corpus Christi Food Truck Festival

The 6th annual Corpus Christi Food Truck Festival is from noon to 10 p.m. Saturday, April 1, at Chaparral and Peoples streets. Fifty of the best food trucks will be on hand serving up the best dishes and food creations for all to enjoy. Corpus Christi Parks & Recreation Department's Collier Pool, 3801 Harris Drive and Corpus Christi Natatorium, 3202 Cabaniss Pkwy., are open for lap and general swim for the Spring 2023 swim season. Collier general swim hours are 4-6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Lap swim hours are 6-9 a.m.;11:00 a.m. to 2 p.m.; and 4-6 p.m. Monday through Friday.
