Love to shop local? Head over to The Destin Commons Market on Sunday and soak up the warm weather, unique vendors and maybe top the afternoon off with some local treats. The Market is an outdoor market that takes place at the Destin Commons. Located in from of the AMC theatre, the market is now a bi-monthly event where guests can peruse a variety of vendors selling handmade goods, home decor, artwork and more.

City of Destin’s Easter Egg Hunt

  • When: 9 a.m., Saturday

  • Where: Morgan’s Sports Center, 4200 Indian Bayou Trail, Destin

The city of Destin is holding its annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday. Kids ages 12 and under can participate. A special egg-hunting zone for crawlers and toddlers will also be available.

Spring Bass Tavern

  • When: 9 p.m. to 2:30 a.m., Saturday

  • Where: The Harbor Tavern, 306 Harbor Blvd., Destin

Escape all of the Easter celebrations with a night of heavy sound, lasers, live painting and more at The Harbor Tavern. Hypnoz, FifthDensity, Yante, Jackii Chan, and DanQ will make sure you’re thoroughly entertained throughout the night. Entry is free before 10 p.m., $5 at the door afterward and $10 for anyone under 21.

Easter Brunch at Emerald Grande

  • When: 10:30 a.m., Sunday

  • Where: Emerald Grande, 10 Harbor Blvd., Destin

The Emerald Grande has prepared two special Easter brunches at the Grande Ballroom and the Grande Vista Bar & Grill. The Grand Ballroom will hold a special brunch buffet between 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., featuring everything from Belgian waffles to garlic and herb prime rib. Reservations are required for the buffet, and start at $54 for adults and $25 for kids (ages 3-12), plus a 22% service charge and 7% sales tax.

The Grande Vista Bar & Grill will offer a special brunch menu with entrees starting at $26, Easter cocktails and dessert. Entrees include crab cake Benedict, shrimp and grits, bourbon brown sugar glazed ham, lamb lollipops and crusted salmon bagel. Reservations for this event aren’t required but are highly recommended. Easter Egg Dash at LuLu’s Destin

  • When: 1 to 3 p.m., Sunday

  • Where: LuLu’s Destin, 4607 Legendary Marina Dr., Destin

LuLu’s Destin is bringing back its Easter Egg Dash on Sunday. The Easter Bunny will visit with kids as they hunt for eggs on Lulu’s beach. The dash will begin at 2 p.m. Kids can dash around, looking for golden eggs that are scattered throughout the area. Nabbing one of these means getting a special prize.
