This weekend get a one-stop opportunity to learn about Middle Tennessee's fastest-growing city, take the family pup to a pool party or stock up on those 4th of July fireworks.

1. Experience Spring Hill 2023

Is it possible to experience all the great things Spring Hill has to offer in one day, let alone under one roof?

The annual Experience Spring Hill expo returns this weekend at Summit High School, 2830 Twin Lakes Drive, running from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.

The free community event is a great way for residents both new and old to learn about Spring Hill's local small businesses, civic organizations, nonprofits, restaurants and local tourism attractions.

More than 100 vendor booths will be set up, as well as a kids zone featuring face painting and hair braiding stations, a "touch a truck" display, mobile gaming and virtual reality stations. There will also be a bounce house, as well as a few "characters" to meet and grab photo-ops.

A food court will feature local restaurants, as well as demonstrations from local dance groups and gyms.

2. Pup Pool Party at the Co-op

There's nothing like cooling off on a hot summer day with a dip in the pool, and that includes the family pup.

United Farm & Home Co-op, 975 Riverview Lane, will host a Pup Pool Party from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, inviting all pet parents to bring their little fur buddies for a wet and wild good time.

The event will feature multiple pup pools, agility training, as well as a few freebee giveaways and other prizes for you and your dog.

Also be sure to share your Pup Pool Party photos on social media using the hashtag #UFHCPupPoolParty.

3. Bucket List Fireworks opening day, treasure hunt

The 4th of July will be here before we know it, which means it's time to stock up on this year's round of "boom booms."

Bucket List Fireworks, 4910 Main St. in Spring Hill, will host a grand opening of its fireworks stand from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday.

The event will include fireworks displays, as well as a fireworks treasure hunt to mark the celebration.

4. PFLAG Columbia charity event at Common Law

Common Law Brewing Co. of Spring Hill will host a charity event for PFLAG Columbia from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday.

Common Law Brewing Company, 4825 Main St. in Spring Hill, will celebrate pride month by hosting a charity event for a local LGBTQ organization.

The brewery will host a PFLAG Columbia Charity Event from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday.

Come and enjoy drink specials, as well as food by Chef's Table, baked cookies and DJ music to support PFLAG Columbia.

5. Live entertainment

The Piano Men, a tribute to the music of Elton John & Billy Joel, will perform at The Mulehouse, 812 S. High St., starting at 8 p.m. Friday. Purchase tickets at www.TheMulehouse.com.

Dalton Little will perform at The Boondox, 3543 Highway 431, starting at 8 p.m. Friday.

LeVel 77 will perform at The Rebel Bar and Grill, 307 Riverside Drive, starting at 7 p.m. Saturday.

Kelson Buck and the Buck Wild Band will perform at The Boondox, 3543 Highway 431, starting at 8 p.m. Saturday.

The Phillips will perform at Mt. Pleasant Grille, 101 S. Main St. in Mt. Pleasant, starting at 6:30 p.m. Saturday.

Spoken Nerd will perform at Twisted Copper Brewing Company, 107 S. Main St. in Mt. Pleasant, starting at 7 p.m. Saturday.

Still Rollin' will perform at The Rebel Bar and Grill, 307 Riverside Drive, starting at 4 p.m. Sunday.
