Things Have 'Gotten Very Ugly' In Mary-Kate Olsen And Olivier Sarkozy's 'Heated' Divorce
Mary-Kate Olsen and Olivier Sarkozy's relationship has gotten "very ugly."
Mary-Kate Olsen and Olivier Sarkozy are the latest celebrity couple to split up in 2020, and their breakup is already pretty damn messy. Mary-Kate just filed an emergency order to divorce her husband of five years (they got married back in 2015 with "bowls and bowls filled with cigarettes" as decor), and apparently their relationship has been kinda toxic recently.
"It's gotten very ugly between them," a source tells E!, adding that the divorce has become "heated" and Mary-Kate is "done with constant drama."
Apparently, the designer has left NYC in order to spend time with her twin sister Ashley and some friends outside the city. However, yesterday TMZ reported that Olivier gave Mary-Kate until May 18 to get all her stuff out of their New York City apartment, which she claims she can't because, ya know, there's literally a pandemic happening.
Apparently, Mary-Kate filed an emergency divorce petition in the hopes of protecting her property until May 30, and is also requesting that her "ironclad" prenup be enforced. A source tells Us Weekly that “Her business interests and fortune are protected,” which includes fashion lines The Row and Elizabeth and James—as well as the money she and Ashley made as child stars. Together, the sisters have a whopping net worth of $500 million, so yeah...you better believe that prenup is ironclad.
