Things to do in Green Bay: Candlelit hike at Barkhausen; see Neville holiday exhibit before it ends

GREEN BAY - As temperatures start to drop for winter, there's still some ways to enjoy the season outdoors or staying warm inside.

Take a hike or check out an exhibit downtown. Here's some things happening in Green Bay to check out this weekend.

Take a candlelit hike in Suamico

Don't let winter stop you from heading outside. The Barkhausen Waterfowl Preserve is holding self-guided candlelit hikes Friday and Saturday. You can take a 1.25-mile stroll through the illuminated trail anytime between 5 and 8 p.m.

The preserve is located at 2024 Lakeview Drive in Suamico. Registration is required online before the hike. Tickets cost $5 per person and can be found on the Brown County parks website. The candlelit hikes go on through the winter until Feb. 10.

Last chance to check out the 'Holiday Memories of Downtown Green Bay'

The "Holiday Memories of Downtown Green Bay" exhibit at the Neville Public Museum is closing this weekend. The last day to view the exhibit is Sunday.

The exhibit features the animated figures that once decorated the H.C. Prange’s department store windows.

The Green Bay Gamblers are playing the Cedar Rapids on Bud Night Friday. The game starts at 7 p.m. at the Resch Center.
