We’re weeks into it now, and the UK like the rest of the world is still in the grips of the coronavirus lockdown.

Things are tough out there, but there’s a silver lining – the UK’s cultural output has moved online, and millions of us have been tuning in for theatre shows, live comedy and art exhibitions from our sofas.

Nightlife, too, has been making its way into people’s homes through virtual club nights, and people are finding ways of enjoying live music during testing times.

Watch Benedict Cumberbatch's turn as Frankenstein

Benedict Cumberbatch and Jonny Lee Miller both play the roles of the scientist and his monstrous creation in the National Theatre’s Frankenstein, which goes online tonight at 7pm. The first version, with Cumberbatch as the creature, will be available first, with the second version of Danny Boyle's production available next week.

The Royal Albert Hall’s excellent live-streaming series — called Royal Albert Home — continues this week, with a set broadcast live from the home of KT Tunstall. It’s been timed to come straight after the weekly Clap For Our Carers tonight at 8.15pm.

Tune in for the Sink The Pink Drag Quiz with Wildcat Gin

One of London’s best-loved drag troupes has teamed up with gin brand Wildcat to launch its very own online pub. At The Queen’s Head, drag queen Ginger Johnson will be hosting a pub quiz tonight at 7pm, which will be live-streamed on Sink The Pink’s Instagram account. The quiz will then be posted to their Facebook page, but join in live for the chance to win prizes including bottles of Wildcat gin and loo roll.
