Just because the holidays are over doesn't mean there's nothing left to do. From music concerts to an interactive murder mystery dinner to a Brewfest, here's a look at events happening in Tuscarawas and Stark counties in January:

Josh Turner at KSU Performing Arts Center in Tuscarawas

Multi-platinum Nashville recording artist Josh Turner will be in concert at the Performing Arts Center at Kent State University Tuscarawas on Jan. 13.

Turner, who has sold more than 12 million records, is among the youngest members of the Grand Ole Opry, the Performing Arts Center said in a news release.

Tickets start at $58 and are on sale at the Performing Arts Center box office at www.kent.edu/tuscpac or by calling 330-308-6400.

Turner's releases include the 2003 platinum-selling release, "Long Black Train" and his 2017 Billboard charting record, "Deep South." The artist has received multiple Grammy and CMA (Country Music Association) award nominations. Hit songs include include “Your Man,” “Why Don’t We Just Dance,” “Long Black Train" and "Time Is Love."

The Performing Arts Center is on the campus of Kent State Tuscarawas at 330 University Drive NE in New Philadelphia.

Anthem Lights and Colton Dixon at Ohio Star Theater

Anthem Lights will perform Jan. 21 and Colton Dixon will play Jan. 27 at Ohio Star Theater at Dutch Valley in the Sugarcreek area.

In 2012, Dixon placed seventh in season 11 of the "American Idol" singing competition television show.

Originating in Los Angeles, Anthem Lights released its first album in 2009 under the original name of Yellow Cavalier. Anthem Lights is a pop, rock, Christian and gospel vocal group.

Tickets, which are $60 to $80 for Anthem Lights; and $46 to $66 for Dixon, are available at https://www.dhgroup.com/theater.

Murder mystery dinner theatre in Massillon on Jan. 7

An interactive murder mystery dinner titled "Oscar Madness" will be presented on Jan. 7 at Santangelo's Party Center at 1008 Ninth St. SW in Massillon.

Tickets, $48.50 for adults and $36.50 for children ages 3 to 12, are available at https://www.tickettailor.com/events/haywarddinnertheatre/787995. The event is 7 to 10:30 p.m. and includes a buffet-style dinner featuring barbecue ham and carved sirloin. Charles Hayward is presenting the dinner theatre show, which also includes a cash bar.

The show is set at the Oscars Academy Awards in Hollywood. Attendees are encouraged but not required to dress as if they were invited to an actual Oscars ceremony.

The "Winter Blitz Brewfest" is 3 to 7 p.m. on Jan. 7 at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton. Seasonal beer and wine will be featured, along with food and music. Tickets are available online.

Hall of Fame Village Brewfest

The Hall of Fame Village will offer guests the opportunity to sample varieties of beer and wine on Jan. 7 at the "Winter Blitz Brewfest."

The event is 3 to 7 p.m. inside the pro-style locker rooms at the stadium. Seasonal beer and wine will be featured from more than 20 local, regional and national brands, along with a variety of food, music and giveaways.

General admission is $25 and includes 10 tasting tickets, a tasting cup and unlimited bar snacks. Designated drivers are admitted for $10 and receive free soft drinks and bar snacks.

The event also offers a VIP experience, which is $40. A VIP designated driver ticket is also available for $25.

The Hall of Fame Village campus is at 2626 Fulton Drive NW in Canton.
