"Magic & Mayhem" is performing at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Performing Arts Center at Kent State University at Tuscarawas.

"Magic & Mayhem" combines fast-paced physical comedy and sleight of hand.

The show features Darren “Dizzy” Partridge, who has performed around the world, including at Apollo Theatre at London's West End and the Sydney Opera House.

The Performing Arts Center, 330 University Drive NE in New Philadelphia, requires face coverings to be worn regardless of vaccination status. Free parking is available.

Country music artists Tracy Byrd and Aaron Tippin will perform Saturday at the Canton Palace Theatre.

Byrd emerged in the country music scene in 1993 with the hit song "Holdin' Heaven" from his self-titled debut album, which was certified gold.

Other popular songs include his remake of Johnny Paycheck's, "Someone to Give My Love To."

Aaron Tippin, meanwhile, is marking 25 years as a recording artist.

Doors open an hour before the 8 p.m. concert. Tickets are $48.50, $58.50 and $68.50 plus fees.

Artist Judi Krew will host a gallery talk at 4 p.m. on Feb. 24 in the Atrium Gallery at Walsh University.

Krew, of Jackson Township, will meet with guests and talk about her exhibition, "Hoard Couture: Wearable Art," which is on display at the Birk Center for the Arts through March 6.

Wearable art accessories include fascinators, hats and handbags made from unconventional materials. Free viewings are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The gallery talk is free and open to the public.

Jayson Reynolds, a popular author in young adult literature, will speak at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 24 at the Canton Palace Theatre as part of the Dr. Audrey Lavin Speaking of Books series.

Reynolds is known for using poetry and prose to capture the teen experience while exploring the issues of friendship, divorce, loss, poverty and injustice.

Serving as the Library of Congress’ National Ambassador for Young People’s Literature, Reynolds also has been a Newbery Award honoree, a Printz Award honoree, National Book Award honoree, a two-time Walter Dean Myers Award winner and the recipient of multiple Coretta Scott King honors.

Reynolds has written more than a dozen books, including "Miles Morales: Spider Man," "Long Way Down," "When I Was the Greatest" and "The Boy in the Black Suit."

Fleetwood Mac tribute in Massillon

Fleetwood Gold will perform at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Lions Lincoln Theatre,156 Lincoln Way E.

The tribute band features the music of Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Nicks and Peter Green. Songs will include "Dreams, "Go Your Own Way," Landslide," "Tusk," "Don't Stop" and "Stand Back."
