This weekend catch a ride along the Natchez Trace Wine Trail, laugh over a good meal at Building Block, line dance at The Mulehouse and crown the 2024 Mule Day Queen.

1. Natchez Trace VIP Wine Tour

Experience local Tennessee wine country by loading up on a bus and taking a ride down the Natchez Trace Wine Trail.

The VIP tour kicks off at 11 a.m. Sunday at Grinder's Switch Winery in Columbia, 510 N. Garden St., with the bus returning at 5 p.m.

Guests will start with Grinder's Switch wine tastings before heading out to Hampshire, with stops along the way at all of the Napa Hollow wineries.

These include wine tastings at Amber Falls Winery & Cellars, Natchez Hills Winery, as well as Keg Springs Winery.

Snacks and drinks will be provided on the bus, as well as a personal mini charcuterie box for each guest. A boxed lunch will also be optional. Guests will also receive a special Natchez Trace Wine Trail wine glass at the end of the tour.

2. Carol Burnett Dinner Theatre at Building Block

The Building Block School for the Arts brings classic TV to the stage with its popular "Carol Burnett Dinner Theatre Show."

Building Block, 1309 S. Main St., will host two performances this weekend starting at 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

The show will feature multiple skits from the classic "Carol Burnett Show" along with a delicious dinner.

3. Country Dance Night at The Mulehouse

The Mulehouse will host another monthly Country Dance Night starting at 7:30 p.m. Friday.

Bust out those fancy cowboy and cowgirl boots and head to The Mulehouse for another fun night of country dancing and music.

The Mulehouse, 812 S. High St., will present another monthly Country Dance Night hosted by Urban Cowboy Line Dancers starting at 7:30 p.m. Friday.

Experience and skill level doesn't matter, just an enthusiastic attitude to kick up your heels and experience a long-lasting southern tradition.

4. 2024 Mule Day Pageant at Columbia State

Can you believe it's almost time to prepare for another Mule Day?

The festivities won't start, however, without first crowning the next Mule Day Queen.

The 2024 Mule Day Pageant will take place this weekend for residents and students ages 15-21, taking place starting at 7 p.m. Saturday at Columbia State Community College's Cherry Theater, 1665 Hampshire Pike.

Tickets are $10 and will be available at the door.

5. Live entertainment

Tom Saffell & Robert Johnson will perform at McCreary's Irish Pub & Eatery, 814 S. Main St., starting at 7 p.m. Friday.

John Eason will perform at The Tilted Mule, 102 Depot St., starting at 7 p.m. Saturday.

Joey Sykes will perform at Grinder's Switch Winery, 510 N. Garden St., starting at 6 p.m. Saturday.

The Def Leprechaun Band will perform at McCreary's Irish Pub & Eatery, 814 S. Main St., starting at 7 p.m. Saturday.

Jenn Majors and Tennessee Stills will perform at Fozzy's Bar & Grill, 150 Stephen P. Yokich Parkway, starting at 8 p.m. Saturday.

Southbound Crows will perform at The Boondox, 3543 Highway 431, starting at 8 p.m. Saturday.
