Jazz Pensacola’s Jazz Gumbo

Monday Night Blues

Alter Bridge - The Pawns and Kings Tour

7 p.m. Tuesday, May 16. Saenger Theatre, 118 S. Palafox St. Alter Bridge has steadily climbed to the forefront of hard rock worldwide. Bands on the Beach

7 p.m. Tuesday, May 16. Gulfside Pavilion at Casino Beach, Pensacola Beach. Pensacola Beach's popular outdoor summer concert series with performers for every musical taste. Tunes by the Dunes Concert Series

Pensacola Little Theatre is proud to present the final Studio 400 production of the season, "The Nebula of Georgia," written and directed by artistic committee member Joe Nierle. The dramedy tells the story of a family in Georgia that is chock full of Southernisms and great characters. When a wayward daughter comes home for a funeral, her chilly reception by her family has nothing to do with the sweltering house and everything to do with the family secret that comes to light. The 35 Lap Sportsmen Spectacular

The Navarre Paddle Classic

7 a.m. Saturday, May 20. Navarre Beach Marine Park, 8739 Gulf Blvd., Navarre. The second annual Navarre Paddle Classic will take place at the Navarre Beach Marine Park on the Santa Rosa Sound to benefit the Navarre Beach Sea Turtle Conservation Center. 9 a.m., kid’s ride; 10 a.m., adult’s ride; Saturday, May 20. Malaga Square, 1501 N. 11th Ave. Bike Pensacola is joining with the Pensacola Association of Realtors to host Pensacola’s first Kids' Slow Ride followed by a Bike Safety Rodeo. Kids will ride (and parents can join them) a little less than a mile to a nearby East Hill park and back, escorted by motorcycle officers of the Pensacola Police Department. Free helmets will be given away by Sacred Heart Hospital, and participants will be eligible for prizes such as free bicycles. 10 a.m. Saturday, May 20. Seville Square. Gulf Coast Culture Fest will be an event where the entire community can come together and be empowered and enriched with many different cultures through a celebration of the arts. It will also allow artists from all across the Gulf Coast and surrounding areas to showcase their talents in the visual, cultural and performance arts, while uplifting and unifying the community. The first part of the festival will consist of vendors, food trucks and various forms of live entertainment in Seville Square from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. That evening, there will be a local film festival screening sponsored by Gulf Coast Short Film Fest in Bartram Park at 8 p.m. Free. Tchaikovsky Discovers America

10 a.m. Saturday, May 20. Saenger Theatre, 118 S. Palafox St. Join the Pensacola Symphony Orchestra for this family event featuring a theatrical concert designed for all audiences followed by hands-on musical activities. Based on a historical event, Tchaikovsky Discovers America tells of the composer’s arrival in New York for the grand opening of Carnegie Hall in 1891 and his trip to Niagara Falls. A surprise encounter with Jennie, a young American girl, gives a glimpse into Tchaikovsky’s life in Russia, his love of music, and his fears of conducting.
