7 p.m. Tuesday, May 23. Gulfside Pavilion at Casino Beach, Pensacola Beach. Pensacola Beach's popular outdoor summer concert series with performers for every musical taste. Featuring a lineup of regional artists, Bands on the Beach delivers an eclectic musical experience throughout the entire summer. This week features the Jordan Chase. Voivod

7 p.m., doors; 8 p.m., show; Tuesday, May 23. Vinyl Music Hall, 2 S. Palafox St. Few bands survive for four decades. Even fewer are those that continue to reach new creative heights, long after legendary status has been achieved. Voïvod were never like other bands: even as the thrash metal scene exploded in the early ‘80s, the Jonquière, Québec crew stood apart, both as unique visionaries and as proud subverters of the metallic norm. Johnny Chisholm Presents Memorial Weekend Pensacola

Thursday through Sunday, May 25 through 28. Pensacola Beach, Park East. The largest LGBTQ event held in North America for Memorial Day for the past 30 years returns to Pensacola Beach with nightly parties, daily beach tea dances, DJs Will Lowe, Dan Slater & Ben Bakson, Abel, Joe Gauthreaux & Danny Verde, Robbie Carrigan, Jay-R, as well as lights by J. Tunes by the Dunes Concert Series

7 p.m. Thursday, May 25. Navarre Beach Marine Park, 8705 Gulf Blvd., Navarre. Tunes by the Dunes is a free concert series held on Thursday evenings. Nebula of Georgia

7:30 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 2:30 p.m. Sunday, May 19 through 27. Pensacola Little Theatre is proud to present the final Studio 400 production of the season, The Nebula of Georgia, written and directed by artistic committee member Joe Nierle. The dramedy tells the story of a family in Georgia that is chock full of southernisms and great characters. When a wayward daughter comes home for a funeral, her chilly reception by her family has nothing to do with the sweltering house and everything to do with the family secret that comes to light. P3 Comedy Fest

5:45 p.m., doors; 6 p.m., show; Friday, May 26. Vinyl Music Hall, 2 S. Palafox St. Every Memorial Day Weekend, the P3 Comedy Fest gathers the best LGBTQ+ comedians and military vet comedians from all over the US, Canada and Japan to raise money for the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors. TAPS provides much needed counseling, financial assistance, and much more to grieving families of those lost serving the country in the military. 6:30 p.m. Friday, May 26. Bayview Park, 2001 E. Lloyd St. The East Hill Neighborhood Association presents the Bands on the Bayou Community Concert Series. Come with chairs, blankets and family by land or water, and join everyone on the lawn at the new Bayview Community Center. Boat access is available. Local food trucks will be in attendance. Jeffery Osborne – Memorial Day Celebration

7 p.m., doors; 8 p.m., show; Friday, May 26. Pensacola Bay Center, 201 E. Gregory St. Enjoy a Memorial Day Celebration kick-off concert featuring the legendary Jeffery Osborne with special guests After 7 and Con Funk Shun. Five decades into a genre-crossing career, Osborne offers his first album of original material in 15 years on Worth It All. The album finds Osborne picking up where he left off in the vein of new songs with 2003’s Music Is Life, displaying as much vocal agility and ease as ever atop a variety of urban-contemporary grooves and melodic R&B ballads. Saenger Speakeasy

8 p.m. Friday, May 26. Saenger Theatre, 118 S. Palafox St. The Saenger Theatre, broadcasting live on Sandcastle Radio, will host its first-ever Saenger Speakeasy. This is an exclusive opportunity to sneak backstage to dance and party on the Saenger stage with special guest, Pensacola’s own DJ Peruchin from Sandcastle Radio. Salsa dance instructor, Sherri Bundt, from The Way You Move, will be giving salsa lessons along with live special guest DJ, Peruchin from Sandcastle Radio. Tickets start at $20. Main St. Hollow World Fest is an art and music festival designed to curate an original art and music experience to transport guests to a new world. Miss Memorial Day Bikini Contest

Noon Saturday, May 27. Flora-Bama Lounge & Package, 17401 Perdido Key Drive. The world-famous beach bar hosts several bikini contests every year around the time of the Mullet Toss, Memorial Day, Fourth of July and the finale on Labor Day. On each of those holidays, ladies can compete to become a top finalist. 1 p.m. Sunday, May 28. Veterans Memorial Park, 200 S. 10th Ave. The Veterans Memorial Park Foundation of Pensacola invites active-duty military personnel, veterans, families and all community members to attend the Memorial Day Ceremony at the park. A Marine Corps Color Guard will present the colors and the Pensacola Opera Chorus will perform a patriotic medley of songs. In addition, the Blue Anchor Belles will sing an assortment of 40’s and 50’s patriotic style music, and the McGuire’s Pipe Band will also be featured at the ceremony. Blues on the Bay

6 p.m. Sunday, May 28. Community Maritime Park Hunter Amphitheater, 301 W. Main St. This free concert series is one of the most popular events for locals and visitors to spend the final hours of their weekend enjoying great music with family and friends in a great atmosphere. Concert spectators are invited to bring coolers and lawn chairs. Guests of all ages are encouraged to enjoy the cool breeze of the bay while listening and dancing to some of the region's best musical talent. This week features Civilized Natives. Government St. Roman Street, named for an old Roman street in the Alps, is an internationally trained instrumental band specializing in improvisational fusion of classical, gypsy and contemporary jazz, Latin, and nuevo flamenco. A departure from the over-produced music that is out there today, they keep it simple with the organic sound of acoustic instruments played by people who love what they are doing. The Expendables

Palafox St. The Expendables started out their nearly 25-year career as a spirited party band in high school performing surf-rock covers for birthdays and family gatherings. A quarter-century later, elementary school buddies Raul Bianchi, Adam Peterson and Geoff Weers, along with bassist Ryan DeMars, who joined in 2000, have forged a unique sound born in the laid-back beach life in their hometown of Santa Cruz, California. $18.
