Things to Do in Pueblo, June 24-29: Crime Stoppers Bash and Princess Night at City Park

Friday, June 24

National Street Rod Association 37th annual Rocky Mountain Street Rod Nationals, Colorado State Fairgrounds, 1001 Beulah Ave. | See custom cars lovingly restored and souped up by their owners during the annual Street Rod Nationals from June 24-26. Hours are 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $19 for adults, $17 for military personnel or anyone 60 and older; $6 for children; or free for children 5 and younger. Food vendors also will be on site throughout the weekend.

Pueblo Crime Stoppers Bash with Legendary Rock Band Great White, Lake Minnequa Veterans Memorial Park, 3005 Lake Shore Ave. | This live-music fundraiser featuring the band Great White will take place behind the former Brass Saddle on Pueblo Boulevard. Local favorites Martini Shot will also play. Gates open at 6 p.m. The show goes from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. Cost is $25 in advance or $30 at the gate.

Saturday, June 25

Princess Night, The Rides at City Park, 3425 Nuckolls Ave. | Grab your finest tiara and glass slippers for a night of fairy-tale magic from 5-9 p.m. at City Park. Attendees are encouraged to come dressed as their favorite princess or prince to ride the rides and take selfies with princesses. Ride tickets are 25 cents.

Sunday, June 26

Never Clever Summer Show, Blo Back Gallery, 131 Spring St. | Never Clever Clothing is hosting a live music event for local artists in Pueblo. Musicians playing the event will be a combination of punk-influenced and indie bands as well as rap and R&B. The show goes from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m. Tickets start at $10.

Through the end of June

Pueblo West Library June art show featuring Debbie Phillips, 298 S. Joe Martinez Blvd| Featuring art quilts, paintings, photographs, wood and recycled materials, this exhibit is free and open Monday through Thursday 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Friday and Saturday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. through June 29 at the library.
