Pueblo County Veterans Day Ceremony at the Riverwalk

Veterans Bridge near Gateway Park, behind 120 Riverwalk Place | 11 a.m. | The annual event will honor all local veterans who have served. Master of ceremonies is Col. Jeff Chostner, who served in the U.S. Air Force. Guest speakers include Brian McCain of the Air Force, Paul Hendricksen of the U.S. Army, Mike Herrera of the U.S. Marine Corps and Zach Swearingen of the U.S. Navy. The event will include a presentation of colors, a flyover, 21-gun salute and the playing of "Taps."

Warren Miller's 'Daymaker' film screening at Pueblo Memorial Hall

1 City Hall Place | 7 p.m. | A screening of Warren Miller's latest ski and snowboard film. Door prizes will be awarded. Cost is $18.

Rabbit Hole at Steel City Theatre Company

241 S. Santa Fe Ave. | 7:30 p.m. shows on Nov. 11, 12, 18, 19; 1:30 p.m. shows on Nov. 12, 13, 18, 20 | Written by David Lindsay-Abaire, the dramatic play takes us into the lives of a couple who lose their 4-year-old son in a random, tragic accident. The play delves into the complexities of a family navigating deep grief and learning what it means to live a fruitful life when things fall apart. Tickets cost $12 to $15 and are available online at steelcitytheatre.org.

2561 Vinewood Lane, back entrance | 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 13 | Holiday crafts and goods will be available. Event includes prize drawings, breakfast burritos and homemade soup.

Top Hats and Tiaras Toy and Food Drive at Eagles Lodge No. 145

1615 S. Prairie Ave. | 6 p.m. cocktail hour, 7-10 p.m. dancing | Dress in your holiday finest and start the season by giving to those less fortunate. Bring a new, unwrapped toy plus a nonperishable food item. Proceeds and items will go to the Migrant Education Program of Southeast Colorado. Cost is $15 per person, and light snacks are included.

Stargazing at Nature and Wildlife Discovery Center
