This weekend's roundup of events include shopping at The Factory, deer hunting at the Co-op, RC car racing and career opportunities in healthcare.

1. Second Saturday at The Factory

Enjoy a day of shopping and good food this weekend as The Factory at Columbia celebrates its first Second Saturday of 2024.

As always, The Factory will host lots of local and regional vendors, as well as food trucks and live entertainment.

Also be sure to stop by The Factory's growing number of shops, restaurants and more.

The Factory will remain open during regular business hours, while Second Saturday events will run between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.

The Factory at Columbia is located at 101 N. James M. Campbell Blvd.

2. End of Season 'Doe-Out' at the Co-op

Young hunters are invited to the Tennessee Wildlife Resource Agency's End of the Season Doe-out at United Farm and Home Co-op from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.

The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency will host a special End of the Season "Doe-Out" for young hunters.

The event invites young hunters ages 6-16 and older at United Farm and Home Co-op, 975 Riverview Lane from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.

Hunters must have all applicable licenses and hunters ages 10 and older must have met Hunter Education requirements.

Lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m., as well as door prize giveaways. Donations of dressed deer to Hunters for the Hungry will also be accepted during the event.

3. Muletown 1RC car racing

Race for the win, while having a lot of fun at Fairview Park this weekend for a day playing with RC cars.

Muletown 1RC Racing will host races at the Christa S. Martin Community Center, 871 Ironbridge Road, starting at 10:30 a.m. Saturday.

Races will include classes of crate late models, super late models and Eastern dirt modified cars. The event is also free to attend.

4. Career fair at Hospitots

The Children's Academy at Hospitots will host a special job fair for anyone interested in a career in healthcare from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.

Anyone wishing to start a career in healthcare are invited to attend the New Year, New You Career Fair at Hospitots.

The fair will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at The Children's Academy at Hospitots, 1219 Trotwood Ave.

The event will feature industry experts and nursing professionals, who will provide interviews, advice sessions and resources for careers in healthcare service.

The first 50 attendees will also receive a free career development session voucher worth $50.

5. Live entertainment

End of the Line, an Allman Brothers Tribute, will perform at The Mulehouse 812 S. High St., starting at 8 p.m. Friday. Tickets are $20 and available at www.TheMulehouse.com or by calling (931) 490-9400.

Nick Bentley will perform at Grinder's Switch Winery, 510 N. Garden St., starting at 6 p.m. Friday.

The Sternwheelers will perform at McCreary's Irish Pub, 814 S. Main St., starting at 7 p.m. Friday.

Five By Five will perform at Fozzy's Bar & Grill, 150 Stephen P. Yokich Parkway in Spring Hill, starting at 8 p.m. Friday.

Boomerang will perform at Puckett's in downtown Columbia starting at 7:30 p.m. Saturday. Admission is $10 and cash only.

Andy Liter will perform at The Tilted Mule, 102 Depot St., starting at 7 p.m. Saturday.
