MONDAY

Holland Farms Pumpkin Patch & Maze

8 a.m. Sunday to Saturday through Nov. 5. Holland Farms, 2055 Homer Holland Road, Milton. Enjoy a hayride around the farm and to the pumpkin patch to pick a pumpkin of your choice. New activities for this year include a 3/4-mile train ride around the farm and a new innertube hill slide. Jazz Pensacola presents Jazz Gumbo

5:30 p.m., doors; 6:30 p.m., show; Monday, Oct. 17. Seville Quarter, 130 E. Government St. Saxophonist Lukas Ali Hein formed Sabroso in 2021 in an effort to spice up the Emerald Coast’s offerings of Caribbean and South American music. A transplant from the West Coast to the Pensacola area, Hein has become a sought-after musician. $10 for Jazz Pensacola members and guests; $12 for non-members; free for students and military with ID. Chicago the Musical

7:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 17. Saenger Theatre, 118 S. Palafox St. There’s never been a better time to experience Chicago, Broadway’s razzle-dazzle smash. This triumphant hit musical is the recipient of six Tony Awards, two Olivier Awards, a Grammy, thousands of standing ovations and is now the No. 1 longest-running American musical in Broadway history. Monday Night Blues

Bands on the Beach

7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 18. Gulfside Pavilion at Casino Beach, Pensacola Beach. Pensacola Beach's popular outdoor summer concert series with performers for every musical taste. Featuring a lineup of regional artists, Bands on the Beach delivers an eclectic musical experience throughout the entire summer. This week features Dr. Breeze. New Years Day

Tarragona St. After building a reputation strictly through promotion on the social networking website MySpace, Anaheim, California’s News Years Day released their debut self-titled EP in 2006 and their first full-length album, "My Dear," in 2007. Bike Pensacola’s Slow Ride

10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 22. From the Ground Up Community Garden, 501 N. Hayne St. The ride will be about an hour and 10 minutes long, at a casual pace. Nobody will be left behind. Children must be at least 10 years of age to ride their own bicycle, and ages 10 to 16 must be accompanied by an adult. No pets are allowed on the rides. Palafox St. Legend of stage and screen, Frankie Avalon dominated the music charts for years with dozens of popular songs in the '50s and '60s including No. 1 hits "Venus" and "Why." Avalon's string of gold record million-seller singles and albums included 31 charted hits.
