'I think we hit!' Woman wins nearly $300,000 Michigan Lottery jackpot on husband's birthday

After winning nearly $300,000, a Michigan Lottery winner was able to give her husband the best birthday present ever.

Kristin Murawski, 46, won the $288,903 Fantasy 5 jackpot July 21, which also happened to be her husband, Scott's, birthday. Murawski bought the winning ticket at a Red Party Store in Willis, Michigan, about 35 miles southwest of Detroit.

She told Michigan Lottery officials she likes to play Fantasy 5 when the jackpot is over $150,000, so she made a quick stop at the store and grabbed a ticket. It was Scott Murawski's birthday, so they stopped at a neighbor's house on the way home to celebrate.
