The 2024 presidential race continues, with the third GOP debate on Wednesday night.
The Republican face-off will be held at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County. At least five candidates qualify for the debate, including biotech entrepreneur and Cincinnati native Vivek Ramaswamy.
To qualify for Wednesday's debate, candidates must obtain a minimum of 70,000 unique donors and receive at least 4% of the vote in multiple polls. Ramaswamy's campaign has reportedly amassed donations from more than 78,000 unique, small-dollar donors. Ramaswamy also has the support of roughly 5% of Republican primary voters, per Reuters.

Will Donald Trump be at the GOP debate?
Former President Donald Trump will not appear in Wednesday's GOP presidential primary debate. Trump also skipped the previous two debates.
Instead of taking the stage, the Republican frontrunner will hold a rally Wednesday evening at a stadium in Hialeah, Florida, about a half-hour drive away from his opponents.
In the past, Trump has cited his strong lead in the polls as reason enough for him not to participate in the debates. Trump leads with 56.5% support, according to polling and analysis website FiveThirtyEight. DeSantis follows with 13.9%, Haley with 9% and Ramaswamy with 5.2%.
Where does Vivek Ramaswamy stand on the issues?
Ramaswamy entered the presidential race earlier this year promising to out-Trump former President Donald Trump. He has since expressed his support for the state-level six-week abortion ban and the abolition of several federal agencies like the Department of Education, the FBI and the IRS.

What are Vivek Ramaswamy's religious beliefs?
NBC reports that when asked about his religion, Ramaswamy, the son of Indian immigrants, told a voter in New Hampshire, "I'm Hindu, and I'm proud of that. I stand for that without apology. I think I'm going to be able to be more ardent as a defender of religious liberty."
Although Ramaswamy is vocal about his Hindu heritage, the candidate has also regularly quoted the Bible and spoken about Christianity, which he insists is not a ploy to not pander to voters.
Ramaswamy continues to speak about the importance of religious freedom, insisting that his Hindu faith won't be an issue for his campaign. He told NBC News in July that regardless of religious differences, we are "one nation under God."
