A third suspect has been charged in the shooting death of a Northport teen, according to Capt. Jack Kennedy of the Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit.

On Friday evening, Tobias Alexander Clark, 18, was charged with capital murder in connection with 16-year-old David Martin Jr.'s death. Clark has been placed in the Tuscaloosa County Jail, where he is being held without bond.

Martin was shot and killed outside the Valley Hills apartment complex on Jan. 17. Northport police officers found Martin inside of a vehicle with multiple gunshot wounds, including one chest wound. Martin was taken to the hospital, but did not survive his injuries.

After the fatal shooting, Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit investigators said multiple arrests were possible.

Last week, Ladamien Rogers-Wallace, 18, and an unnamed suspect who is younger than 18 were both charged with capital murder in Martin's death.

Kennedy said there are currently no other persons of interest being sought in this case.
