Like many others, social distancing and being stuck indoors has been a struggle for me. While I’m slowly getting adjusted to new routines and behaviours, I've been using the unforeseen time at home to dedicate more of my off-hours to self-care. Along with finally removing my shellac and allowing my nails to breathe and pushing myself to do at-home workouts, I've also been avoiding binge-watching TV series by finally powering up the e-reader I received a couple of months back.

And I'm sorry I didn't use it sooner because it has been a game-changer to my reading experience.

What is it?

The Kobo Libra H2O — available in both black and white — is an innovative e-reader that offers a comfortable, user-friendly reading experience in a sleek, modern design.

How does it work?

Designed with the option for landscape orientation and easy-to-use page-turn buttons, users can spend more time reading than ever before, thanks to its ergonomic silhouette.

With adjustable ComfortLight PRO and full waterproofing, Kobo Libra H2O lets you enjoy your favourite books in any environment with the woes of glare or intense brightness or dimness. Throughout the day leading up to bedtime, the lighting of the screen automatically reduces blue light to limit eye strain.

Is it for you?

Honestly, the reason why it took me so long to use this e-reader is that I rejected the idea of it for the longest time. I don't know — I always assumed that physically flipping through pages of a book was just something technology could never replace. While my opinion still stands, I can't deny or put down the endless convenient features of this device.

What I love most about is that allows me to comfortably read in the dark without it straining my eyes as I wind down for bed. I also really like how it saves my placements and gives me the option to highlight and search up the meanings of specific keywords.

With closures of stores and expected delays of online orders, there's no better time to own an e-reader. If you're a total bookworm, the accessibility to new and classic books across all genres is something you'll appreciate during your time at home — have books you want downloaded to your device within minutes.
