Hammond handed each of them an invitation and said: "You are cordially invited to attend This Morning’s Coronation Street party.
"Please join us at 10am on Friday 5th May as we celebrated the coronation of King Charles III live from the nation’s most famous street, Coronation Street.
"Don’t forget to bring your bunting."
Prenger then joked: "It’s an excellent thing! I’m just worried about the buffet, will it defrost in time?"
In a statement, Hammond said: "I literally cannot wait to be back visiting those cobbles again. I always have such a great time with the Coronation Street team and to be there with our This Morning team this time for such a special occasion will be epic, it's going to be so much fun!"
O'Leary added: "I cannot think of a more iconic way to spend a Friday hosting with Alison and delivering a show like this ahead of the King's coronation.
"We will definitely be bringing the party to Manchester that day!"
The Coronation Street Twitter account also teased the one-off special: "Did you hear the news?! @thismorning are hosting the street party of the year live from the cobbles to celebrate the coronation of King Charles III."
King Charles III is set to be coronated on 6 May and will be broadcast live on TV and also streamed online. The BBC have suspended the license fee for the coronation weekend.
