This Website Will Turn Your Selfie Into A Song

For those of you aching to know it would it sound like if your face composed a song - the wait is over!

The ‘music selfie experiment’ by The Lincoln Motor Company creates a song based on your unique facial features. The website proudly says: “Celebrate your individuality by turning your selfie into sound as personal and unique as your own thumb print.”

How does it work? Selfies uploaded to the Lincoln website auto generate an original audio track which can then be shared online. Eyes influence keyboard elements, jawline establishes base, lips inform guitar tonality, nose setting is linked with rhythmic percussion and eyebrows define ambience.

So, what does a luxury car company have to with selfies? Good question. According to their website the experiment has been “designed to help Lincoln connect with a younger, more diverse audience of potential customers.” A very clever bit of marketing indeed.

Potential customers would need to have a few quid in the bank though - retail prices for brand new vehicles start at $33,260 (£23,350).

Still, quite fun though. You can have a go yourself here.
