Thousands of Customers Left Without Power After Storm Hits London, Ontario

More than 20,000 customers in London, Ontario, were left without power on September 13 after severe thunderstorms hit the region the previous evening.

Hydro One said they were responding as quickly and safely as possible to power outages on Monday.

This footage, posted by Les Kalman on Twitter, shows flashes of lightning illuminating an otherwise pitch-black residential neighborhood. Kalman told Storyful that it was taken in the Kilworth neighborhood of London.
