Thousands Evacuated as Heavy Rainfall Causes Deadly Flooding in Indonesia

More than 24,000 people were evacuated from their homes in Indonesia’s North Aceh Regency and at least one person was killed as heavy rainfall caused flooding over the weekend, according to local media.

At least 1,111 houses were affected by the flooding, officials told local media on Monday.

This footage, filmed in Lhoksukon, Indonesia, shows streets inundated.
