Thousands flock to Hattiesburg to celebrate 35th annual Hub Fest

Hattiesburg on Saturday celebrated its 35th Hub Fest. The annual street festival's return was marked with record crowds.

More than a dozen musical acts kept people moving from four different stages. Singer-songwriter and two-time Academy of Country Music award winner Lainey Wilson headlined the festival.

Artists from across the Southern region joined local craftsmen in selling a variety of goods, including pottery, artwork and clothing. Students from Southern Miss were able to sell art through a collaborative effort with Oddfellows Gallery.

Hub Fest was canceled over the last two years because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
