STORY: South Africa's Rugby World Cup champions were welcomed as heroes by thousands of exuberant fans as they paraded through Johannesburg and Soweto with the Webb Ellis Cup on Thursday (November 7) following their victorious campaign in Japan.

The Springboks, led by captain Siya Kolisi, toured through the area on top of a bus while taking turns hoisting the trophy as fans cheered, danced and sang below.

The rugby champions are touring the African nation following their triumph at the Rugby World Cup in Japan which culminated with a 32-12 win over England at the final in Yokohama on Saturday (November 2).
