Thousands Left Without Power in Hawaii After Lightning Storm

Nearly 20,000 residential customers in the Honolulu area were left without power on the evening of March 10 after lightning impacted the power grid.

Hawaiian Electric tweeted that some 19,590 customers were offline as of 7 pm on Wednesday.
